June 28 Accident
On June 28, at least three passengers lost their lives and two others sustained critical injuries when a private double-decker bus collided with a truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district.
Police said the bus, which was travelling from Delhi to Orai in Jalaun district, struck the rear of a truck carrying marble tiles near the Nagla Khangar area.
The collision caused significant damage to the front and left side of the bus.
Initial reports indicate that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, leading the bus to crash into the slow-moving truck ahead.
