Pennsylvania Shooting: Chester County DA Says Multiple Victims In Lincoln University Incident, Investigation Underway
A shooting incident went down at Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, on Saturday evening (local time,) and reportedly multiple individuals were shot. The Chester County District Attorney’s Office informed that authorities have taken swift action and are investigating the incident.
In a post on social media platform X, the DA’s office informed of the incident and also urged the citizens to avoid the area at this time.
“The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is aware of a shooting with multiple victims that occurred at Lincoln University this evening. Law enforcement has responded to the scene and are actively investigating. Please avoid the area at this time,” the post read.

This comes just a day after reports stated that at least four people were shot outside the campus of Howard University on Friday night as the institution held its homecoming festivities.
Alabama Shooting Incident
On October 6, the news agency IANS reported, citing local media, that two people were killed, and 12 others were injured as rival gunmen shot at each other in a crowded downtown district in Montgomery, the capital city of the US southeastern state of Alabama.
IANS report further stated that Montgomery Police Chief James Graboys said three of the injured had life-threatening injuries. Police were called around 11:30 p.m. local time to what Graboys described as a “mass shooting,” according to CBS News. He also said seven of the gunshot victims are under the age of 17, and that the youngest is 16.
