For all Transformers One fans out there, we have some exciting news in store for you. Can you guess? Oh cโmon. The makers have released a new poster on Instagram. Oh boy. We canโt keep calm. Bonus: Trailer release date. The makers have announced that the trailer will be released on Friday, July 26. Sharing the super cool news on social media, they wrote, โAll for oneโฆ and one will fall. New #TransformersOne trailer out on 26th July in English & Hindi.โ FYI: the announcement came at a time when San Diego Comic-Con gets ready to kick off. Do we need to say more? We think not. Director Josh Cooley also opened up about his upcoming offering in an interaction with Entertainment Weekly. Talking about the cast, he said, โThe one thing that stressed me out from the minute I signed on was, Peter Cullen is Optimus Prime and is Transformers โ thatโs what my Optimus Prime was growing up. I was concerned. How do we [follow that]? And when I really listened to Chris, he had this power to his voice. He took the lines and just pushed even further. He wasnโt trying to imitate Peter Cullen, but he was doing the cadence and the rhythm of Optimus Prime, and I froze and I got goosebumps.โ
Talking about the relationship between Orion Pax [Chris Hemsworth] and D-16 [Brian Tyree Henry] in the film, the director said,ย โIt is the core of this film. The thing that starts to drive a wedge between him and Orion Pax is that the world is not what they thought it was, and they then start to form two different views on how to solve the problem. And these two versions just naturally butt heads against each other. Theyโre really trying not to get pulled apart, and thatโs where the friction comes in during the second part of the movie where things get real and scary choices are made that really will affect everything.โ
