New Delhi: Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, is finally set for its OTT release.
The Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer, which emerged as a Rs 300-crore blockbuster during its theatrical run, will soon be available for streaming on JioCinema.
The makers announced that Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra will premiere on October 31.

The makers of the film took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday to reveal the OTT release date along with a new poster.
“The world of Lokah unfolds exclusively on JioCinema, streaming from October 31,” the caption read.

The movie will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.
Lokah is the first female superhero film, with Kalyani Priyadarshan starring as Chandra. It also features a talented supporting cast including Naslen, Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian, Sandy Master, and Parthiban. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Jakes Bejoy.
The film is directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner of Wayfarer Films.
After its theatrical release, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra opened to highly positive reviews and went on to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, collecting over ₹300 crore worldwide.
The story revolves around Chandra, also known as Neeli — a yakshi or vampire — who crosses paths with an arrogant, misogynistic police officer named Nachiyappa, played by Sandy.
The makers have already announced Lokah Chapter 2, which will star Tovino Thomas as Michael, a chathan or goblin. Dulquer Salmaan, who appears as Charlie, an odiyan or ninja, may also reprise his role in the sequel.
