Three people lost their lives and eight others were injured in a shooting incident inside a restaurant in Brooklyn, New York, early Sunday morning.
Police said the incident occurred around 3:30 am at the Taste of the City Lounge in the Crown Heights neighborhood.
The victims included a 27-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, and another male whose age has not yet been determined.The eight injured individuals were taken to nearby hospitals and are reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
New York City Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch said there were multiple shooters involved. She added that no one has been taken into custody so far and the individuals responsible for the attack remain unidentified.
Investigators have recovered at least 36 shell casings from the scene, according to Tisch.

August 9 Times Square Shooting Incident
Earlier on August 9, three people, including a woman, were injured after a teenage gunman opened fire near a crowded intersection in the popular hotspot of New York’s Times Square, quoting police, the New York Post reported.
The gunman opened fire allegedly after a dispute broke out between two people near the intersection of 44th Street and 7th Avenue at around 1:20 am (local time), according to the New York Police Department (NYPD). Crowds of people were seen dispersing in panic outside the popular Hard Rock Cafe after hearing gunfire, the NY Post said.
According to police officials, an 18-year-old woman sustained a neck injury, while two men, aged 19 and 65, were shot in the legs. All three were taken to Bellevue Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
The suspect was arrested at the scene, and a firearm was recovered from his possession.
