Ahead of the Bihar assembly, the NDA on Sunday announced a seat distribution which includes BJP and JDU to contest on equal number of seats in upcoming election, while the LJP (Ram Vilas) to contest on 29 seats.
Here’s the math of the 243 seats as divided among NDA constituents, shared by Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde in a social media post on X.
BJP – 101 seats
JD(U) – 101 seats
LJP (Ram Vilas) – 29 seat
RLM – 06 seats
HAM – 06 seats

“All members of the NDA family have completed the distribution of seats through mutual consensus in a cordial atmosphere,” he also wrote.
Tawde further said that all leaders and workers of the NDA parties have welcomed this decision with enthusiasm and are confident of forming the NDA government in Bihar once again.
There were intense discussions between the leaders of NDA allies since the announcement of the poll dates to finalise seat sharing for the Bihar Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, a meeting of BJP Central Election Committee was being held in the national capital. Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, and other Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nityanand Rai, Sarbananda Sonowal and Dharmendra Pradhan were seen arriving at the BJP headquarters here for the BJP Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting.
Bihar Election Polling And Result Date
Earlier, the Election commision of India announed that the polls in Bihar is going to be held in two phases, where the first phase is going to be on 06-11-25 and the second phase of polling is schduled to be held on 11-11-25. The poll body decleared that the result for all 243 assembly seats is going to be declear on 14-11-2025.
